About TenthMatrix

Our story

From a tech talent business by the Thames to AI agents, AI tools and the software they run on.

Where it all began

TenthMatrix began as Workstation, founded in 2000 at Putney Bridge, London, with a simple idea: connect good technology people with the businesses that need them. It was a tech talent business first. Matching the right people and tools to the right problem is still how we work.

Over the years the company moved, changed hands and changed shape: from talent to hardware and software, then to AI. In 2026 the software side became TenthMatrix. This page tells that story one milestone at a time.
